Ranging Reflections is a group exhibition of printmaking by thirty artists sharing their unique perspectives on living in and around the remarkable Yarra Ranges.

This exhibition includes work by 30 emerging and established artists who were invited by Rona (project curator and also participating artist) to respond to the theme ‘Ranging Reflections’ in any way that resonated with them – literally, metaphorically, symbolically, conceptually or poetically. Each work on display expresses distinctive ideas and imagery. There are depictions of the actual environment and specific locations, alongside imagined spaces and interpretations of place. In company with these are assorted observations of both visitors to and inhabitants of the region. Some prints have a focus on social commentary whilst others are a realisation of emotions inspired by the area.

The participating artists are Kate Baker, Elizabeth Banfield, John Bodin, Lana de Jager, Silvi Glattauer, Stephen Glover, Karena Goldfinch, Antonia Green, Rona Green, Ali Griffin, Elizabeth Haigh, Jessica Harris, Kate Hudson, James Hughes, Chris Lawry, Jan Liesfield, Cassie May, Aaron McLoughlin, Rebecca Murray, Angela Nagel, Karen Neal, Gillian Nix, Brenda Page, Michael Reynolds, Cathy Ronalds, David Rosengrave, Ryan Tews, Bronwyn Ward, Mark Westaway and Rain White.

All are welcome to join the artists for celebratory drinks at the official exhibition opening of Ranging Reflections from 2pm – 4pm on Saturday 9 November 2024 at Arts Centre Warburton.

Entry to the gallery is free. For further information about the exhibition, car parking and accessibility click here to visit the Arts Centre Warburton website.
